SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The Betsy Nolan Literary Agency represents a wide variety of nonfiction for a general audience. Some of our best-selling categories include: cookbooks, lifestyle, decorating, gardening, self-help, childcare and psychology. (Unfortunately we are unable to accept fiction, poetry and screenplays.)

For all queries, please send a 1-2 page letter and a brief overview or chapter outline. Please be sure to include your contact information and any relevant background information on yourself or your project as well as marketing and promotion information.

Please note that if you are submitting by standard mail, all queries must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for a response and to cover the cost for returning all materials. If you do not include a self-addressed envelope, we will only contact you if we are interested; otherwise, we will recycle material.
